Yesterday, Daniel Kawczynski MP met with the Minister of State for Rail, Wendy Morton MP, and they discussed the electrification of the rail line between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton. Mr Kawczynski stressed to the Minister the importance of achieving this, and he pressed the need to reduce travel times for commuters. Minister Morton was receptive and said that she would meet with Mr Kawczynski later in the year to provide him with a substantive update.
