DANIEL KAWCZYNSKI MP HELPS SECURE £18 MILLION FROM THE GOVERNMENT’S LEVELLING UP SCHEME TO REDEVELOP THE SMITHFIELD AND RIVERSIDE AREAS OF SHREWSBURY
Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Dehenna Davison MP, personally called Daniel Kawczynski MP to tell him that Shropshire Council’s bid to secure funding from the Government’s Levelling Up scheme was successful. The Council has been awarded £18 million to redevelop the Smithfield and Riverside areas of Shrewsbury. The redevelopment of these areas will see the most significant changes to Shrewsbury in decades, which the Council believes will attract more people and business to the town.
